Chris and Liz had a beautiful church wedding followed by a a stunning reception at Spring Grove House it was the first time I have shot at Spring Grove house, it’s nice to know that even after 12 years photographing weddings in the Midlands there are great wedding venues I have not been too!!
The day was an absolute joy to be a part of, and the meal was excellent thanks Chris and Liz ; )
I even had the chance to try out the radio transmitters in my new Canon 600EX-RT ‘s you can see the result in the backlit tree photograph.
Congratulations of a fab day Chris and Liz.

To celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary Sally and I headed off to Bath for a bit of history and a spa – I know, me in a spa…it was as funny as it sounds I had no idea what to do with myself …
We stayed in the Royal Hotel, a lovely hotel right in the middle of the city really friendly staff and a nice homely feel to it…breakfast was fab too, I resisted temptation to pig out on a full English and instead went for smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast. yummy ! the Thermae spa really was great but for me the star of the show was the Roman Baths and Bath abbey.
I’d wanted to bring Sally to Bath ever since I photographed Helen and Scott’s wedding and fell in love with Bath, It’s a stunningly beautiful city.
Any way, Here’s to the next 11 years – thanks Bath… we’ll definitely be back soon!
( last but not least HUGE thanks to our dear friends Jo and Nigel who looked after 2 of our children and Sally’s Mom & Dad who had the other 2! : )

Andreas and Christie were married in the Mother of God and St Andrews – Greek Cathedral in Birmingham on Summer Hill in the centre of Birmingham. Christie looked stunning and apart from a little rain everything was beautiful on the day. It was a true joy to photograph the wedding especially as I have photographed many weddings for Christies family and friends over the years.

Kate and David’s awesome village hall wedding : Â )
Hatton Village hall is a little gem of a wedding venue not far from Warwick, I loved the home made vintage theme Kate and David had chosen for their beautiful wedding.
It was a fab wedding to be part of there were some great moments, I couldn’t resist putting the photo of when the best man dropped the rings on the blog…. ( sorry best man ) It was a bit of a shame it was a half day booking for me and I have to say I was desperate to photograph the rest of the day by the time it came to leave .
Congratulations to Dave and Kate, I hope the rest of your lives is as happy and filled with love as your wedding day.
